Bella brought her hand away from her eye as Jayk talked. When he was done talking, even though she still looked like a raccoon, she went over to the door and opened it. Her face was less puffy after the cool water treatment, but you could still tell that she had been crying. "I wouldn't be happier, Jayk. Yes, I would be happy, but not as happy as I am with you." She cleared the distance between the in a few easy strides. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him close. "And I want you to remember that I love you and that I won't ever let you leave me." She said before pulling him down and kissing him gently.

Jayk smiled weakly and kissed her back, pulling her closer to him. "I don't think you'll let me forget, but I promise not to." he said softly. His lips left her's and travled down her jawl to her neck. He nuzzled her slightly, then kissed her neck genty.

She smiled when he kissed her back and her smile widened as he spoke. His lips left her's and went down to her neck. She sighed when he nuzzled her slightly and rested her head on his shoulder. She brought her lips to his neck and opened them slightly to let his scent filter into her mouth, making it water.

Jayk sighed slightly and rest his head in the crook of her neck, just enjoying her closeness. He felt her open her mouth slightly. He felt her warm breath on his neck and closed his eyes. Do it. he thought, his heart speeding up a litte. He didn't dare say it out loud, for he knew what her reaction would be. He almost pulled away himself, but didn't. Instead he stood still, waiting.

Jayk put his head in the crook of her neck. She could feel his pulse coming from his neck. It sped up and she didn't know why. She began to take deeper breaths of his scent. Her fangs slide out slightly. She brushed her fangs against his neck, almost biting his neck. She regained her strength and ripped away from him. "No!" She shouted,"I can't... no..." Her fangs are still bared as she looks at him with pain filled eyes. She staggers away from him and sits down on her bed, still looking at him.

Jayk took in a breath as he felt a fang brush across his neck, leaving tingles in its place. He breathed out deeply as she pulled herself away,and for a moment a picture of a young girl pulling herself away from a murder flicked in his mind. He closed his eyes and looked away. "How many times must we do this, Bella? I'm not going to make you, but I'm not going to get mad if you do." he said gently. He looked her over once with his tender russet eyes, then shut the door and went back down stairs, thinking she need to be alone for a while.

She nodded as he spoke. She knew that he wouldn't be mad, but she just couldn't do it. Not yet. Not now. He shut the door and she knew that he went back down stairs. She sighed and went back over to her mirror to finish wiping away the mascara that was smeared around her eyes.
